I’m Abhishek Chauhan, a final-year B.Tech Computer Science student focused on Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. I enjoy turning raw data into meaningful insights that help answer real business questions and support better decisions.
I work with Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python, with hands-on experience in data cleaning, analysis, data modeling, KPI reporting, dashboard development, and visualization.

My Experience

Sales & Data Reporting Assistant with hands-on experience in maintaining business records, preparing sales and expense reports, and organizing operational data using Microsoft Excel. At Vinod Electronics Store, I managed daily sales, billing, expense, customer, and inventory records while ensuring data accuracy and consistency. I also prepared monthly reports to track business performance and operational costs, using Excel-based data modeling and reporting tools to turn raw business data into structured insights.

Project Details

Built an interactive Power BI Business Intelligence solution to replace fragmented reporting and provide centralized insights across Sales, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Executive functions. Integrated 1M+ records from SQL and Excel/CSV sources, performed data cleaning and transformation using Power Query, and developed a structured multi-table data model with DAX measures and KPIs. Created interactive dashboards with drill-downs, filters, and user-focused navigation to analyze sales, profitability, customer/product performance, forecast accuracy, and inventory risks. Used DAX Studio for performance optimization and applied business-focused visualization and dashboard design principles to support data-driven decision-making.

Analyzed a Power BI dashboard to transform hotel booking and performance data into actionable business insights. Analyzed key hospitality metrics including Revenue, ADR, RevPAR, Occupancy %, Realization %, Cancellation %, and customer ratings across properties, cities, and booking platforms. Used Power BI, Excel, DAX, data modeling, and visualization techniques to track weekly trends, compare property performance, and identify revenue and operational gaps. The analysis highlighted top-performing properties and cities while identifying opportunities for improving occupancy, pricing, realization, and overall revenue performance.
