Project Details

In this project, I worked on building comprehensive Profit and Loss (P&L) reports using Excel. Evaluation of financial performance, support decision-making, and facilitate communication with stakeholders.
P&L by Fiscal Year and Months: This report provided a detailed breakdown of Net sales, COGS(Cost of goods sold), and gross margin trends over specific fiscal years and individual months and also net sales comparison between 2021 and 2020
P&L by Markets: This analysis segmented financial performance across different geographical or business markets to help identify high-performing regions and areas requiring attention.

Project Details

This project, which combines Power BI, SQL, and Excel, centers around addressing operational issues at AtliQ Hardware, a prominent global consumer electronics company. The company's heavy reliance on Excel for data analysis has led to significant losses in some regions. To rectify this, senior management aims to initiate a data analytics project, leveraging data from the previous year to enhance performance and drive improvements.

Project Details

In this project, the goal is to develop one dashboard which could be used by the Revenue team of AtliQ Hotels for providing them with insights about their business. AtliQ Grands, renowned for its chain of five-star hotels across India, boasts a rich 20-year history in the hospitality sector. Nevertheless, they currently struggle with diminishing market share and revenue in the luxury and business hotel segment, attributed to competitive pressures and less effective management choices. In response to this challenge, the managing director of AtliQ Grands is embarking on a strategic initiative to integrate "Business and Data Intelligence" into their operations. The primary aim is to recapture market share and boost revenue.

Project Details

In the "Consumer Goods Domain" project , I worked on database of Atliq Hardwares. Facing the challenge of data-informed decisions, I answered ten ad-hoc requests to extract actionable insights. Findings revealed a substantial increase in unique products, a dominant 'Notebook' segment, and a flourishing 'Accessories' category. Sales seasonality and the pivotal role of the 'Retailer' channel were uncovered.

Project Details

Analyzed warehouse and inventory data for Mint Classics to recommend the closure of an underperforming warehouse. Used MySQL to assess warehouse performance, product sales, inventory levels, and customer service timelines. Identified Warehouse D as the least efficient based on low stock, revenue, and customer reach. Found high excess stock and low-profit products in Warehouse B, recommending clearance to make space. Proposed closing Warehouse D and reorganizing Warehouse B without impacting 24-hour shipping targets. Developed SQL queries, CTEs, and stored procedures to automate analysis and support business decisions. Gained practical experience in supply chain and retail analytics.
The project enhanced my data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills, contributing to my growth as a data analyst.
