Project Details

In this project, I analyzed pizza sales data using MySQL, leveraging data from four Excel files to uncover key business insights. The analysis addressed a variety of questions:

• Basic Analysis: Calculated total orders, total revenue, highest-priced pizza, most common pizza size, and the top 5 most ordered pizzas.

• Intermediate Analysis: Joined tables to find the total quantity of each pizza category ordered, determined order distribution by hour, and analyzed category-wise pizza distribution. Additionally, I grouped orders by date to calculate the average number of pizzas ordered per day and identified the top 3 pizzas by revenue.

•Advanced Analysis: Calculated the percentage contribution of each pizza type to total revenue, analyzed cumulative revenue over time, and determined the top 3 pizzas by revenue within each category.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗲𝘀:

1. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀:
•Identified the markets in the APAC region where "Atliq Exclusive" operates.
2. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀:
•Calculated the percentage increase in unique products from 2020 to 2021.
•Listed unique product counts per segment, sorted by product count.
•Determined which segment saw the highest increase in unique products between 2020 and 2021.
•Identified products with the highest and lowest manufacturing costs.
3. 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀:
•Reported the top 5 customers in India by average pre-invoice discount percentage for FY 2021.
•Provided monthly gross sales for "Atliq Exclusive," aiding in identifying low and high-performing months.
4. 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀:
•Determined the quarter in 2020 with the highest total sold quantity.
•Identified the channel contributing most to gross sales in FY 2021 and its percentage contribution.
•Listed the top 3 products by total sold quantity in each division for FY 2021.

Crafted an interactive resume using Power BI, Excel, and Figma (first time using Figma!). Overcame challenges with custom tables, tooltips, image links, and dynamic text. GPT helped visualize my ideas.

I created an interactive resume using Power BI, incorporating Excel for data management and Figma for designing background and static elements. The project involved several challenges:

➊. Crafting my own tables was crucial for ensuring accurate and personalized data.

➋. Developing a timeline for my education section was tricky.

➌. Adding tooltips and links to certifications was simpler than expected and enhanced the presentation.

➍. Text wrapping issues in the visuals for the details column required careful troubleshooting.

➎. Designing a clean and functional projects section was a rewarding new experience.

➏. Integrating my own image URLs and linking them in the visual was challenging.

Additionally, I utilized dynamic text in text boxes to add interactivity.
Overall, this project sharpened my Power BI skills and demonstrated its versatility beyond business analytics.

In this project, as part of Resume Project Challenge #12 by Codebasics, I conducted an in-depth analysis of the Indian EV market to guide AtliQ Motors' expansion strategy. The objective was to assess the correlation between EV sales, penetration rates, and the availability of charging infrastructure across various states. The study identified Karnataka and Maharashtra as key regions with strong potential due to robust infrastructure and high sales. Goa, despite fewer charging stations, demonstrated the highest EV penetration, highlighting the impact of favorable policies. The project culminated in actionable recommendations for AtliQ Motors, focusing on regional market strategies and infrastructure investments.
