The Customer Performance Report displays the yearly net sales performance for each customer.

This report allows stakeholders to evaluate the country's performance over multiple years and compare it to the established targets.

Project Details

In this project, I created a Sales Report using Excel pivot tables to help businesses optimize customer discounts, streamline negotiations, and identify high-potential markets. The reports offer actionable insights to enhance sales strategies, boost customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.

Throughout the project, I gained expertise in pivot tables, Power Query, and the fundamentals of DAX for advanced data analysis. I also improved data presentation through conditional formatting and refined the visual design of reports, making them intuitive and user-friendly.

By analyzing key sales metrics, this project equips businesses with the tools to make data-driven decisions, uncover growth opportunities, and improve overall sales performance. The insights provided enable businesses to refine their strategies for sustainable growth and market expansion.

Curated an interactive Power BI dashboard for AtliQ hardware's business using tools like - MySQL Database, CSV files, Microsoft Power BI Desktop, and Microsoft Power BI Service with five different views for five different departments in a business organisation.

1. Executive View: Top 5 Customer / Product insights and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for comparative analysis.

2. Marketing View: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for product / customer and scattered plot chart showing Net Profit (NP%) performance with Gross Margin (GM%) & Net Sales (Net Sales%).

3. Sales View: Customer / Product performance analysis and Performance Metrics tracking.

4. Finance View: P&L statement. Top / Bottom products by Net Sales and Net sales performance over time.

5. Supply Chain View: Key metrics analysis for customers / products and Measures such as Forecast Accuracy %, Net Error %, Risk.

AtliQ Hardware, a leading international firm in PCs and peripherals, faced challenges in making quick, data-driven decisions. I spearheaded a project using SQL to address 10 key ad-hoc requests, providing actionable insights for the management team. These included identifying markets where "Atliq Exclusive" operates in APAC, calculating unique product growth from 2020 to 2021, analyzing segment-wise product counts, and identifying products with the highest and lowest manufacturing costs. I also reported on top customers by average discount percentage, monthly gross sales trends, quarterly sold quantities, channel contributions in 2021, and the top products by quantity sold. These insights enhanced AtliQ Hardware's strategic decision-making and reinforced my expertise in SQL, data analysis, and business intelligence.

1)The average occupancy rate in each room category.
2)City-wise average occupancy rate to identify high and low-performing locations.
3)A comparison of occupancy rates between weekdays and weekends to determine which days perform better.
4)An analysis of June's occupancy rates across different cities.
5)Revenue realized per city to gauge financial performance across locations.
6)Month-by-month revenue trends to track financial growth and identify seasonal patterns.

These insights provide actionable data to inform strategic decisions and improve overall performance.

1️⃣ Revenue Trends by Category:
Business rooms dominate revenue generation, contributing 61.62% compared to 38.38% from luxury rooms.
This indicates that targeting business travelers can yield higher profitability.
2️⃣ Occupancy Insights:
The overall occupancy rate stands at 57.8%, with a slightly higher rate during weekends (62.64%) than weekdays (55.85%).
Optimizing room pricing for weekdays could balance the demand across the week.
3️⃣ Booking Platform Analysis:
"Tripster" shows the highest Realization % (70.68%) and ADR (Average Daily Rate), making it the most lucrative booking platform.
Focusing on partnerships with high-performing platforms can maximize revenue.
