Project Details

In this project, I applied my advanced Excel skills to develop a comprehensive financial and performance reporting system for the company, Atliq Hardware. The focus was on creating a detailed Profit and Loss (P&L) statement, broken down by fiscal year and month. Key metrics included:

Net Sales: Tracking revenue generated from sales activities.
Cost of Goods Sold (COGS): Calculating the direct costs attributable to the production of goods sold.
Gross Margin: Determining the difference between Net Sales and COGS.
Gross Margin Percentage (GM%): Providing a percentage-based view of profitability.
These metrics offer a clear view of the company's financial health and performance over time, aiding in strategic decision-making.

Additionally, I developed two critical performance reports using Excel's pivot table functionality:

In this project, I took on the role of Peter Pandey to analyze and visualize three years of IPL performance data for players and teams. Using Power BI, I designed an interactive dashboard that provides a comprehensive summary of key metrics, helping stakeholders understand trends, strengths, and areas for improvement. The analysis was based on the data provided in the 'primary_and_secondary_analysis.pdf' document and was supplemented with additional research to provide deeper insights.

Insights to the revenue team in the Hospitality Domain

AtliQ Grands owns multiple five-star hotels across India. They have been in the hospitality industry for the past 20 years. AtliQ Grands are losing its market share and revenue in the luxury/business hotels category. the managing director wanted to incorporate “Business and Data Intelligence”.

Project Details

As a data analyst, I was tasked with revitalizing AtliQ Grands' market share and revenue in the luxury/business hotels sector. Leveraging historical data, I developed a comprehensive Business Intelligence dashboard to provide actionable insights to the management team. The project involved creating specific metrics and visualizations based on a provided mock-up, as well as identifying additional insights beyond the given specifications.

Key Objectives:

Metrics Development: I created key metrics such as Average Daily Rate (ADR), Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR), and occupancy rates. These metrics were tailored to provide a clear view of the hotel's financial and operational performance.

Dashboard Creation: Following the stakeholder-provided mock-up, I designed a user-friendly dashboard that includes charts and visual elements to display the metrics effectively. The dashboard facilitates easy navigation and quick access to critical data.
