In this project, I used Excel pivot tables to craft a sales report. The report's purpose is to assist businesses in determining effective customer discounts, making negotiations with consumers easier, and identifying potential opportunities for business expansion in promising countries. The generated reports provide useful advice to help businesses optimize their sales strategies, enhance customer satisfaction, and increase their revenue.

AtliQ Hardware has initiated a project to address this problem by forming a team of data analysts. They will use MySQL as their database management system to extract valuable insights from the data. These insights will enable the company to improve decision-making and streamline operations, ultimately enhancing overall performance.

The purpose of this project is to conduct an in-depth analysis and extract valuable insights from the database supplied. This database encompasses data concerning sales, products, customers, and regions for Atliq Hardware. With declining revenue and market share loss to competitors, this project seeks to analyze customer preferences, pricing, service quality, and city-wise competition to develop data-driven strategies for their hotel business.

AtliQ Grands owns multiple five-star hotels across India. They have been in the hospitality industry for the past 20 years. Due to strategic moves from other competitors and ineffective decision-making in management, AtliQ Grands are losing its market share and revenue in the luxury/business hotels category. As a strategic move, the managing director of AtliQ Grands wanted to incorporate “Business and Data Intelligence” to regain their market share and revenue. However, they do not have an in-house data analytics team to provide them with these insights.

Their revenue management team had decided to hire a 3rd party service provider to provide them with insights from their historical data.
