Project Details

Mitron Bank, a legacy financial institution, seeks to introduce a new line of credit cards tailored to customer spending habits. To support this initiative, this project leverages data analytics to extract insights from 4,000 customers across five cities. Using Excel and Power BI, I performed data cleaning, transformation, and modeling with Power Query, ETL methodologies, and DAX. The analysis focuses on five key areas—Demographic Overview, Income Analysis, Spending Trends, Additional Insights, and Executive View—providing actionable recommendations for customer segmentation, credit card feature optimization, and strategic decision-making. By analyzing spending behavior, financial preferences, and transaction patterns, this project refines strategies to maximize credit card adoption and market reach. These insights will empower Mitron Bank’s leadership to make informed decisions that align with evolving financial trends and customer needs.

Project Details

The Expense Management System is a full-stack application designed to help users efficiently track and analyze their daily expenses. Users can add or update expense entries by specifying details such as the amount, category, and notes. The system allows analysis of spending patterns over a selected date range with intuitive visualizations for better financial insights. Expense data is securely stored in a MySQL database, while the backend is powered by FastAPI to handle all API requests efficiently. The frontend is developed using Streamlit, offering a clean and interactive user experience. Additionally, the system includes secure authentication and user management features to ensure data privacy. Users can also export their expense records in CSV or Excel format for offline access and record-keeping.
