About Me.

A postgraduate in Computer Applications (Data Science) with a bachelor’s degree in Economics, I am proficient in a wide range of analytical and visualization tools such as SQL (hands-on experience in MySQL), MS Excel, Power BI and Python for data analysis and data science (hands-on experience in Jupyter Notebook and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Scikit-learn, and Statsmodels). I am well-versed in various machine learning algorithms, statistical methods and time series models in data science and I also have a fundamental understanding of deep learning algorithms.

My enthusiasm is directed toward making valuable contributions in dynamic roles across data analysis, business analysis, data science, market research, database administration and machine learning. I am keen to utilize my skills to leverage data for impactful and well-informed business decision-making.

Completed an internship as a Data Analyst at AtliQ technologies. Worked on multiple analytical tasks using SQL, MS Excel & MS Power BI. Key responsibilities included data preprocessing, data cleaning, data analysis, reporting & data visualization.

2. Finance analyst intern @Raj K. Sri & Co. | Aug 2024 - Dec 2024 | (Mode: On-site)

Completed an internship as a Finance Analyst Intern at Raj K. Sri & Co., where I assisted in financial analysis and reporting activities. Utilized MS Excel to perform various financial tasks and data related operations. This internship also served as the fulfillment of my final-year MCA internship requirement as per the academic guidelines of Symbiosis.

Project Details

As part of my virtual data analyst internship at Atliq Technologies, I was given an exciting opportunity to analyze the Instagram activity of a Tech Instagram Influencer. This project involved working with three database tables containing activity data to extract meaningful insights and answer key analytical questions.
We were provided with a SQL database file, which was loaded into MySQL Workbench for analysis. Additionally, a document outlined the specific questions that needed to be addressed. Our task was to write SQL queries to retrieve relevant data, ensuring that the results aligned with the provided requirements.
Beyond writing queries, the project also required us to prepare a report where we explained our approach, findings, and insights. This report helped stakeholders understand the data patterns and trends effectively.

Project Details

The project explores multiple business aspects such as sales trends, customer ordering behavior, inventory utilization, and workforce management. It answers key business questions like the total number of orders placed, top-selling items, revenue generated by item category, and average pricing. It also dives into operational efficiency by analyzing dine-in versus takeaway trends, peak order hours, and basket sizes. On the inventory side, it identifies high-margin items, total and individual ingredient costs, and ingredient usage patterns to optimize stock levels and reduce waste. Furthermore, the project evaluates staff-related metrics including the number of employees, daily shift schedules, total working hours, salary payouts, and alignment of staff shifts with high sales periods. By using SQL to extract, clean, transform and analyze data, this project delivers deep insights that can help streamline operations, improve profitability, and support data-driven decision-making.

Project Details

Conducted an in-depth analysis of Netflix India's YouTube channel data from 2017 to 2024 during my virtual data analyst internship at Atliq technologies to uncover key content performance trends. I received a dataset from the company which, due to confidentiality, cannot be shared. The dataset was initially messy, requiring extensive cleaning in MS Excel. Various functions & options were applied to clean, transform & analyze the data. Channel’s performance was examined based on release month, day and phase of the day, along with the impact of video duration, title length and tags. This structured approach ensured a comprehensive and actionable analysis of Netflix India’s YouTube channel performance. Once the data was analyzed in Excel, it was imported into Power BI for visualization. Filters and slicers were implemented for dynamic exploration, while key insights were highlighted through visual dashboards using charts and KPIs.
