This Report provides insights into customer net sales performance, aiding strategic decision-making and optimization.

Project Details

AtliQ Hardware undertook a comprehensive Excel project aimed at extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) over 1.5 million records from CSV files to Power Query for sales reporting. The project involved meticulous steps to ensure data integrity, including eliminating missing values, correcting errors, and removing duplicates. The data was then modeled using a star schema, with a new dimension table for dates and AtliQ Hardware's fiscal year. Pivot tables and Power Pivot were utilized for seamless data analysis, with the integration of new measures and columns using Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for insights such as net sales, gross margin, and top-selling products. Conditional formatting was applied to enhance data presentation. Noteworthy insights included India's dominance in net sales, the highest-selling product, seasonal sales trends, and key customers. The project's success was attributed to mentorship from Codebasics mentors Dhaval Patel and Hemanand Vadivel.
