Domain: Consumer Goods | Function: Executive Management

Problem statement: Atliq Hardware, a leading computer hardware company (imaginary company), is growing rapidly. They want to expand their team with individuals who can help them make quick and data-informed decisions. To assess data analyst skills, they decided to conduct an SQL challenge containing 10 ad-hoc requests.

Tools used: MySQL - for querying databases Power BI - for data visualization and presentation Canva / Photoshop - for design & presentation Excel - for data validation

This project uses Power BI to create dashboards and analyze data for a special edition IPL 2024 magazine by "Sports Basics". The goal is to provide fans, analysts, and teams with valuable insights based on the past 3 years of data and help "Sports Basics" attract website traffic.

Project Highlights

Analyzes player and team performance using various metrics.
Creates separate dashboards for batsmen, bowlers, and teams.
Predicts the best 11 players, top team, winner, and runner-up for IPL 2024.
Identifies key insights such as destructive batsmen, reliable bowlers, and best teams based on historical data.
Predicts winners of the Purple Cap (highest run scorer) and Orange Cap (highest wicket taker).

Key performance indicators (KPIs) include voter turnout percentages, winning margins, and vote shares by party. The analysis also covers correlations between voter turnout and factors such as postal votes, GDP, and literacy rates. Additionally, recommendations are provided to improve voter turnout in future elections.
