About Me

Welcome to my portfolio! I am an aspiring Finance Data Analyst with a keen ability to extract valuable insights from data using Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python. My journey into the world of data analysis began during my post-graduation in PGDM with a specialization in finance. While working for two years in a US Mortgage organization, I realized that domain knowledge alone wasn't sufficient to derive accurate insights.

Driven by this realization, I delved into mastering analytical tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI. Although my professional experience with these tools is limited, I have honed my skills through two remote internships, various freelancing projects as a Data Analyst freelancer, and my current role as a Data Analyst Intern at Atliq Technologies.

3. Age preferences: 25-34, 21-24 like Entertainment, Apparel, Travel.
4. Regional insights: Mumbai leads, diverse trends in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
5. Gender & marital impact: Males and married users lead in credit card usage.

1. Tailored offers for demographics.
2. Specific features for categories.

AtliQ Mart, a leading retail chain with over 50 hypermarkets in southern India, ran promotional campaigns during Diwali 2023 and Sankranti 2024, targeting AtliQ-branded products across categories like Premium Combo Packages, Grocery and Staples, Personal Care, Home Care, and Electronics. The Sales Director seeks an analysis of these campaigns to assess their effectiveness and guide future strategies.

Learnings from the Project:

1. Improved skills in writing complex SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets.
2. Gained experience in data cleaning and preparation using SQL.

Project Details

In this Python data analysis project, I explored the IMDB Movie Dataset containing 1000 entries with 12 columns. Through Pandas and Matplotlib libraries, I cleaned the data by removing missing values and duplicates. The Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) revealed insights such as movie lengths, top-rated films, and genre distribution. I also identified popular movies based on revenue and ratings and categorized them accordingly.
