Project Details

As part of my virtual internship at AtliQ Technologies through the CodeBasics Data Analytics Bootcamp, I built a Power BI dashboard for Shield Insurance, a fictional insurance provider operating across multiple Indian cities. The goal was to empower business stakeholders with insights into revenue performance, customer growth, sales modes, and age-group trends.

I worked with five structured datasets to design a star schema data model, applied Power Query for data cleaning, and developed DAX-based KPIs such as Total Revenue, Total Customers, DRGR, and DCGR. The dashboard includes interactive filters, a Customer/Revenue toggle, and page-level navigation for a user-friendly experience.

This project helped uncover top-performing policies, high-value customer segments, and underutilized channels. It enhanced my ability to solve real business problems using data, deepened my Power BI and storytelling skills, and strengthened my foundation in analytics.
