AtliQ Hardware faced financial losses due to a poorly researched store launch in the U.S., which relied on basic Excel analysis instead of data-driven insights. To address this, the project utilised MySQL, Power Query, and Power BI to develop an analytics solution.

The methodology included gathering data from MySQL and Excel, cleaning and transforming it using Power Query, and creating a robust data model with Star and Snowflake schemas. Tailored dashboards were designed in Power BI using calculated columns, DAX measures, and dynamic features like conditional formatting and bookmarks.

The project delivered five specialised views:
1. Finance View: Focused on revenue, expenses, and profitability.
2. Sales View: Analyzed sales trends and customer behaviour.
3. Marketing View: Evaluated marketing campaign performance.
4. Supply Chain View: Monitored inventory and logistics.
5. Executive View: Provided high-level KPIs for decision-makers.

AtliQ Hardware, a prominent computer hardware producer, faced challenges in obtaining quick and actionable insights to make informed decisions. The project involved performing ad hoc analysis using MySQL and Power BI to address ten critical business queries.

The approach included importing data into MySQL, performing data cleaning, and developing SQL queries to extract insights like market operations, sales trends, and top-performing products. Insights were validated, visualized in Power BI, and presented with strategic recommendations.

Key findings include a 36.33% increase in unique product offerings in 2021, seasonal sales spikes, and the dominance of retailer channels contributing 73.22% of revenue. The visualizations highlighted growth opportunities and provided actionable insights, enabling AtliQ Hardware's leadership to refine strategies for expansion and efficiency.

LioCinema and Jotstar, two leading OTT platforms, were analyzed to evaluate user engagement, subscription trends, and content performance. This project aimed to provide data-driven insights to optimize content strategies and improve business decisions.

Using SQL, Power Query, and Power BI, the project involved data extraction, cleaning, and modeling, followed by the creation of an interactive dashboard with DAX measures and dynamic visuals.

The final solution included five key dashboards:

1. Content Library Analysis – Compared content types, genres, and watch time.
2. Subscriber Insights – Examined user demographics and subscription trends.
3. Inactivity Analysis – Identified inactive users and retention challenges.
4. Upgrade & Downgrade Patterns – Tracked subscription shifts over time.
5. Content Consumption Behavior – Analyzed watch time, device usage, and user engagement.

This project helped stakeholders understand platform strengths, and enhance customer retention.
