I’m an aspiring Data Analyst with skills in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python. I enjoy exploring data, finding patterns, and turning them into insights that can support better decisions.

Though my background is in commerce (I hold a Master’s degree), I discovered that my real interest is in data analysis. That led me to learn, practice, and apply my skills through several projects, which you’ll see below.

Project Details

This project focuses on analyzing Amazon product sales and customer reviews using an interactive dashboard built in Power BI. The dashboard provides a complete view of sales performance through key metrics such as Year-to-Date (YTD) Sales, Quarter-to-Date (QTD) Sales, total products sold, and overall customer reviews. It includes visualizations like sales by month, week, and product category, along with rankings of top-performing products by sales and reviews. Filters for product category and quarter allow users to explore the data dynamically and uncover specific trends. The insights gained from this analysis help identify best-selling products, underperforming categories, seasonal demand patterns, and customer engagement levels. This project highlights my ability to work with large datasets, perform data cleaning and transformation, and build visually appealing dashboards that support data-driven decision-making. It demonstrates practical skills in data analysis, visualization.

Project Details

The Uber Trip Analysis project explored over 100K ride records to uncover insights into customer behavior, demand trends, and operational efficiency. Using Power BI, I built an interactive dashboard that tracked KPIs such as 103.7K total bookings, $1.6M booking value, $15 average fare, 349K miles traveled, 3 miles average trip distance, and 16 minutes average trip time. The analysis revealed that Uber Pay dominated as the preferred payment method, day rides accounted for 65% of trips, and Penn Station/Madison Sq West was the most frequent pickup location. UberX emerged as the most popular vehicle type with 38K+ bookings and over $5.8M revenue, while Uber Comfort and Black attracted premium riders. Location trends highlighted popular zones, farthest trips, and surge periods during office hours and weekends. This project enhanced my skills in data cleaning, KPI design, dashboard building, and storytelling, showcasing the impact of analytics in the transportation and mobility domain.

Project Details

The Vrinda Stores Annual Report 2022 project focuses on analyzing retail sales and customer data to generate meaningful business insights. Using Excel, I designed an interactive dashboard that highlights monthly sales and order trends, customer demographics (gender and age group), top 5 states by revenue, order status distribution, and channel-wise performance across platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Myntra. Key findings revealed that women customers drove the majority of sales, Maharashtra was the highest contributing state, and Amazon dominated in terms of order share. Additionally, 92% of orders were successfully delivered, reflecting strong operational efficiency. This project enhanced my skills in data cleaning, pivot tables, slicers, charts, and dashboard design, while improving my ability to transform raw data into actionable insights. It demonstrates practical application of Excel for data analytics within the retail and e-commerce domain.
