Project Details

AtliQ Hardwares faced inefficiencies in decision-making and a significant loss in Latin America due to reliance on Excel for data analysis. To address this, senior executives initiated a data analytics project aimed at optimizing sales strategies, increasing transparency, and achieving a 10% profit growth through real-time insights with Power BI.

A comprehensive Power BI dashboard was built, incorporating data from internal and external sources. Key metrics like Net Sales, Gross Margin, and Forecast Accuracy were assessed across finance, sales, marketing, supply chain, and executive areas. For instance, Business Laptops achieved $765.25M in sales but had a -13.79% net profit.

The project delivered actionable insights, improving gross margin to 38.08%, cutting operational costs, and capitalizing on high-growth segments like Gaming Laptops (688.58% sales increase). It aims to raise net sales from $3.74bn to $3.83bn and reduce data-related expenses by 20%.
