Welcome to my portfolio website! I'm Viswa, embarking on an exciting journey with data. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Sastra University and began my career at Wipro as a Cloud Migration Build Engineer.

Project Details

The goal is to gain insights into individual platform performance, content consumption patterns, subscriber growth, Inactivity behavior, upgrade and downgrade trends. The insights derived from this study will help the management make informed decisions and optimize content strategies post-merger, with the ultimate goal of establishing Lio-Jotstar as the leading OTT platform in India.
The management expects the below Insights
- Content Library Analysis: A detailed comparison of content types across both platforms
- Subscriber Insights: Analyse trends in subscriber acquisition and demographic variations
- Inactivity Analysis: Patterns of inactivity across age groups, city tiers, and subscription plans

Analyzing IPL data over the last 3 years for Sports Basics special edition magazine, providing key insights on team and player performance, and making predictions for IPL 2024.

One of the primary insights i.e. top 10 batsmen based on past 3 years' strike rate with a minimum of 60 balls faced in each season.

Project Details

"Sports Basics" aims to enhance website traffic by releasing an IPL 2024 special edition magazine packed with insightful data analysis. Analyzed the past 3 years' IPL data to address Primary insights using Python and pandas library and built a Power BI dashboard to understand Team and Player performances. Using Insights from the dashboard and additional research, predicted the Orange cap, Purple cap players, Top 4 qualifying teams, Winner and Runner-Up, Best 11 players, and Top 3 All-Rounders for this season.

Imported datasets into Power BI and further normalized by building a Snowflake Data Model for better analysis and decision-making.

One of the ad-hoc requests asked by the sales director of AtliQ to understand High-value products that are currently being heavily discounted.

Project Details

AtliQ Mart's Diwali 2023 and Sankranti 2024 promotions were analyzed to guide future strategies. Store performance, promotions, products, and categories were analyzed alongside addressing 5 key business requests. Data from dim_campaigns, dim_products, dim_stores, and fact_events, were utilized, employing MySQL for ad-hoc requests and Power BI for reporting with a Snowflake schema. Key insights highlighted the effectiveness of certain promotions and product categories, aiding in refining strategies for optimal results.

AtliQ Data Services proposes a pilot project for Mitron Bank, analyzing a sample dataset of 4000 customers across five cities. The goal is to guide product strategy for a new line of credit cards, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.

Project Details

Mitron Bank is a legacy financial institution headquartered in Hyderabad. They want to introduce a new line of credit cards to broaden their product offerings and reach the financial market.

AtliQ Data Services came to know about this through an internal link and approached Mitron Bank with a proposal to implement this project. However, the strategy director of Mitron Bank, Mr. Bashnir Rover is skeptical and asked them to do a pilot project with the sample data before handing over the full project. They provided a sample dataset of 4000 customers across five cities on their online spending and other details.

The analysis is expected to guide the product strategy team of Mitron Bank in tailoring credit cards based on customer needs and market trends.
