In this project, I created a sales report using Excel pivot tables which will enable businesses to determine effective customer discounts, facilitate negotiations with consumers, and identify potential business expansion opportunities in promising countries.
The reports generated will provide actionable insights and recommendations for businesses to optimize their sales strategies, enhance customer satisfaction, and maximize revenue generation.

AtliQ Grands operates a chain of five-star hotels located throughout India and has a 20-year history in the hospitality industry. However, they are currently experiencing a decline in both market share and revenue within the luxury and business hotel sector due to competition from rivals and ineffective management decisions. To address this situation, the managing director of AtliQ Grands is pursuing a strategic plan to incorporate "Business and Data Intelligence" into their operations to regain market share and increase revenue.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬:

1. 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐈𝐃𝐬: Explored and identified unique property IDs within our aggregate bookings dataset.
2. 𝐓𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲: Calculated the total number of bookings for each property ID.
3. 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬: Uncovered the days when bookings exceeded the property's capacity.
4. 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:Identified properties with the highest capacity.
5. 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬: Addressed columns with missing data by using appropriate substitutes, such as mean or median.

3. 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐯𝐬. 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐧𝐝: Investigated and compared occupancy on weekdays and weekends.
