I am a Data Analyst with a strong passion for transforming raw data into meaningful, actionable insights. I specialize in SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Python, and I continuously work on real-world projects to deepen my expertise in analytics and visualization.

I have earned the PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst certification, which strengthened my ability to build end-to-end analytical solutions—from data cleaning and modeling to interactive dashboards and business reporting.

Over time, I’ve completed several hands-on projects in retail analytics, media performance analysis, customer insights, and financial tracking, each helping me sharpen my problem-solving and storytelling skills.

Media Survival Analysis – Bharat Herald
Bharat Herald, a 70-year-old regional newspaper, has seen declining print circulation and ad revenue as audiences shifted online post-pandemic. This project analyzes circulation, revenue, and advertiser trends to support a data-driven digital transition plan.

Key Insights: Jaipur delivers the highest revenue per copy, commercial brands lead ad spend, and overall revenue shows steady YoY growth. Circulation ROI is strong (10.48), while Delhi and Mumbai show significant print waste. Automotive and FMCG categories emerge as top revenue contributors. Tier-2 cities show strong potential for bundled ads, mobile-first formats are gaining traction, and digitized archives present a new monetization opportunity. Cities were ranked for digital rollout readiness, enabling strategic decision-making.

Project Details

I completed a retail data analysis project for Jenson’s using SQL to uncover insights across sales, customers, products, and store operations. The analysis was divided into four key areas. Sales Performance: Identified top-selling products and categories, analyzed cumulative sales with window functions, and compared revenue across stores. Customer Insights: Segmented high-value customers, detected multi-category shoppers, and evaluated customer shopping patterns across locations. Product & Inventory: Flagged unsold and slow-moving items, identified pricing anomalies using medians, and assessed stock movement at the category level. Staff & Store Efficiency: Highlighted top-performing staff, flagged employees with no recorded sales, and analyzed store-level order volumes to improve resource planning.
Recommendations included loyalty initiatives to boost retention, promotions for stagnant inventory, targeted staff training, and pricing optimization based on demand and median values.

Project Details

I recently built an Interactive Personal Finance Tracker Dashboard in Excel, which allowed me to combine my skills in data visualization, PivotTables, formulas, and creative dashboard design. The goal of the project was to track monthly expenses, income, savings, and spending patterns in a clean and intuitive layout. I organized raw data into structured tables, applied dynamic formulas, and built PivotTables to summarize category-wise expenses and monthly trends. Using slicers and interactive charts, the dashboard helps users quickly filter by month, category, or payment mode to understand their financial behavior. It also highlights savings trends, overspending areas, and budgeting opportunities.

This project was a great opportunity to strengthen my Excel dashboarding skills and reinforced how powerful Excel can be for personal finance management. Every project like this motivates me to keep improving my data journey and build more user-friendly analytical solutions.

Project Details

I recently completed an in-depth Excel project for Atliq Hardware Technologies, where I applied advanced Excel techniques to analyze real-world sales and financial data. Using Power Query, I cleaned, transformed, and prepared the raw dataset for further analysis. I then built a robust data model in Power Pivot, creating relationships that improved calculation efficiency and report performance. Throughout the project, I used advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and INDEX-MATCH to retrieve, match, and validate data across multiple tables. I also worked with DAX formulas, enabling deeper analysis through calculated fields and custom KPIs.
The project involved exploring sales trends, financial performance, and identifying key business insights. I designed interactive reports with charts, slicers, and intuitive layouts to support decision-making. Overall, this experience strengthened my ability to clean, model, analyze, and visualize data effectively using Excel’s analytics
