The goal was to analyze this data and provide key insights to guide Mitron Bank in tailoring credit cards to customer needs and market trends.

Key metric Used:
𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐔𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 % - It is calculated as Average Spends / Average Income.
𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐔𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 % - It is calculated as Total Credit card spent / Total Spent.

Key findings:
--> Income Impact: Top spenders include Salaried IT, Business Owners, and Other Salaried.
--> Age Preferences: 25-34 and 21-24 age groups prioritize Entertainment, Apparel, and Travel.
--> Spending Trends: Dominance in Bills, Groceries, Electronics, led by Mumbai.
--> City Dynamics: Mumbai leads, diverse patterns in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
--> Gender & Marital Impact: Males and married individuals emerge as prominent card users.

1. Ad-hoc Query Resolution:
Analyzed and resolved 10 ad-hoc requests using fundamental SQL concepts. Applied WHERE clause, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, JOINS, CTE, WINDOW FUNCTION, etc. Ensured accuracy and efficiency in data retrieval for each query.

2. Power BI Data Visualization:
Exported query results to Power BI for robust data visualization. Employed effective visualizations such as bar charts, pie charts, maps, donuts, and line charts. Utilized conditional formatting to enhance clarity and highlight key insights.

3. Insights Presentation:
Delivered a comprehensive video presentation explaining insights derived from visualizations. Shared meaningful observations and actionable recommendations. Ensured a clear and engaging narrative to facilitate understanding.

Steps in Making this Report-

1. ETL (Extract Transform Load) Process
Loaded and processed CSV files in Power Query, ensuring data integrity, uniqueness, and correcting errors before integrating into Power Pivot.

2. Data Modeling
Implemented a star schema, created dim_date table with a fiscal year perspective, ensuring seamless integration with other tables.

3. Pivot Table and Power Pivot Integration
Integrated the data model with a Pivot Table for quick analysis, utilizing Power Pivot for efficient data transformation and connectivity.

4. DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) Formulas
Developed 10+ new measures and columns using DAX, including Net Sales, Gross Margin, GM%, COGS, and applied a fiscal year perspective for deeper insights.

5. Conditional Formatting
Applied Conditional Formatting to enhance data presentation, highlighting key information, identifying trends, and improving overall data readability for effective analysis.

As part of my internship, I had the privilege of working on the performance analysis of Shield Insurance, an insurance provider. The project involved creating a comprehensive report based on their provided data (November 2022 to April 2023). Shield Insurance extended its services to major cities such as Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Indore, and Mumbai, offering a diverse range of nine different insurance policies.

The analysis is categories into 3 categories:

1. General view:
Provide an overview of essential insurance metrics, showcasing customer and revenue, along with a monthly trend chart segmented by age groups and cities.

2. Sales Mode Analysis:
Highlights sales performance metrics across various channels, accompanied by a revenue trend chart and the percentage of sales mode that generated maximum revenue.

3. Age Group Insights:
Analyse company revenue and client performance by age group, total customer, sales mode, estimated settlement amount, and policy preference.
