About Me

Hello, I’m Isha! Welcome to my Portfolio. I have a background in computer applications, having completed my MCA from Jamia Millia Islamia in 2021. I’ve spent the last 1.4 years working as an Application Support Engineer, where I handled customer issues, managed databases, and ensured our attendance software ran smoothly. During this time, I became skilled in SQL and Excel, which sparked my interest in data analytics.

Curious to dive deeper into this field, I completed a 6-month data analyst course, learning tools like Power BI and Python. While I may be new to the professional world of data analytics, I’ve already worked on some exciting projects, including Business Insight 360, E-commerce Analysis, and COVID-19 Analysis, using real datasets.

Now, I’m eager to combine my technical experience with my newfound analytics skills to carve out a career in data analytics and make a real impact.

STJ Electronics Pvt Ltd

Database Support Engineer (March 2022 – June 2023)

During my 1.4 years at STJ Electronics Pvt Ltd, I played a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our attendance software. My responsibilities included running SQL queries to maintain and manipulate data, which ensured the accuracy of our database. I installed and managed SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle databases, connecting client machines through ODBC and migrating databases to the latest versions. To prevent data loss, I regularly backed up databases. I also created daily reports in Excel, tracking ticket status and progress, which provided valuable insights for the team. Additionally, I cleaned and prepared employee data in Excel for integration into the software and trained new clients on its use. This experience sharpened my skills in data management and analytics, particularly with tools like SQL and Excel, aligning well with my interest in data analytics.

Project Details

This Project aims to analyze customer purchasing patterns and payment statistics on an ecommerce platform, Olist. It covers several KPI's such as weekday vs weekend sales, payment statistics, delivery time and customer behavior. The analysis is based on 9 CSV files ,which are cleaned and manipulated to extract valuable insights.

Merge datasets in Power Query to extract KPIs, building relationships between tables in model view. Create custom columns to calculate average delivery and shipping days for each product category. Visualize top-ordered products by payment stats and purchasing patterns.

Key Insights:
Sales peaked from March ($1.4M) to August ($2M). Credit card payments led to most 5-star reviews (44k). Faster shipments (10 days) boost reviews; optimize shipping for Audio and PCs (13 days). Weekdays dominate sales at 71.92%.

Project Details

This project aims to analyze employee attrition to help HR and management identify key trends and patterns. Data was imported from CSV files into Power BI, cleaned, and organized using Power Query. A dashboard was then created, featuring KPIs and visualizations.

Key Insights:
- High Attrition: Lab technicians show the highest attrition, with 62 employees leaving.
- Education Impact: Life science graduates experience the most attrition.
- Salary Influence: 163 out of 237 employees earning below 5k left the company.
- Early Exits: Many employees leave within their first year.
- Low Satisfaction:20 lab technicians with a satisfaction rating of 1 left.
- Age Factor: Employees aged 26-35 face the highest attrition rate.

Developed an insightful COVID-19 Dashboard for India using Tableau, aiming to provide a comprehensive analysis of the pandemic's impact. Analysed mortality rates, revealing Maharashtra as the epicenter with a staggering 1,764,769 fatalities - the highest among all regions.
