Project Details

In this project, I created a sales report using excel pivot tables which will enable businesses to determine effective customer discounts, facilitate negotiations with consumers, and identify potential business expansion opportunities in promising countries. The reports generated will provide actionable insights and recommendations for businesses to optimize their sales strategies, enhance customer satisfaction, and maximize revenue generation.

Project Details

In this project , the goal is to be provide the ad - hoc insights to the Executive management team .

Technologies used:

1. SQL Workbench (For SQL).
2. Microsoft Excel (For data visualization).
3. Microsoft Power Point (To create an interactive presentation).

Things learnt from this SQL Project:

1. Leant how to work and deal with the large amount of the data.
2. Learnt how to write SQL queries for getting some required meaningful output from the data table.
3. Got to know about some Advanced SQL concepts like Common Table Expression(CTEs), Self Joins, Pivoting data with case and many more

provides a comprehensive view of the tourism industry in Telangana, with a focus on Hyderabad. It identifies the top and bottom-performing districts based on CAGR and peak and low-performing months. It also includes projections for the number of tourists and revenue generated by the tourism industry

Project Details

Telangana, which is one of the leading states in India, shares information about its tourism through an open data policy. However, the state has been experiencing a decrease in revenue. To address this issue, data analysts were given the responsibility of examining the available data, studying trends, and offering suggestions based on the findings. Their aim was to enhance administrative operations and find ways to increase revenue using data-driven insights.

📌Learnings 📖: The Whole Process involved the following Steps -

👉 Combine the multiple Excel files and loading into PowerBI
👉 Data Cleaning (removing null values) using python
👉 Data Processing
👉 Data Modelling (Relationship between Multiple tables)
👉 Created calculated columns and measures in the report.
👉 Learnt about CAGR calculation, forecasting the revenue and number of visitors for the upcoming year 2025 based on previous growth rate
👉 Used Dax functions and KPI generations
