Hey there, Welcome to my Portfolio!
I'm Komal, I am a passionate Data Analyst, who loves finding the stories in numbers. I enjoy working with data and finding insights that can help solve real business problems. Using tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python, I create dashboards, reports, and analysis that make numbers easy to understand.

I completed my Computer Science degree, and along the way I discovered my real interest— data anaIysis. Even though I haven’t worked in a company yet, I’ve built several projects that you can explore below. Each one shows how I approach data, clean it, and turn it into useful stories.

I’m also a lifelong learner—constantly upskilling through certifications and challenging projects, pushing the boundaries of what data can achieve.

Data Analyst Intern I AtliQ Technologies March 2026 - Present

● Debugged and corrected SQL queries to ensure accurate data extraction from MySQL workbench.

● Performed data variance analysis to identify discrepancies between benchmark and current data (order quantity, delivery quantity).

Project Details

In this project, I developed a sales report using Excel Pivot Tables to help businesses understand their sales performance better. This report is a powerful tool for identifying the best customer discounts, making negotiations easier, and finding new markets to explore.

The insights from these reports can help businesses improve their sales strategies, boost customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.

During this project, I learned how to:

1. Use Pivot Tables for quick data analysis.
2. Apply Power Query for smooth data processing.
3. Understand the basics of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
4. Use Conditional Formatting to highlight important information.
5. Make reports visually appealing and easy to read.
6. Analyze key sales metrics effectively.

Overall, this project gives businesses the insights they need to enhance their sales efforts and discover new growth opportunities through data analysis.

I created a Power BI dashboard called Business Insights 360 for AtliQ Hardware. AtliQ lost millions in a blind expansion. I built 5 BI dashboards across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain & Executive views—uncovering profit leaks, forecast issues, inventory gaps, and growth opportunities.

Star-schema data model linking sales, products & financial tables for seamless analysis across multiple data sources.

Project Details

Project Overview: I created a dashboard for AtliQ Hardware, a company that sells computer hardwares in India, to help them understand their business performance and make data-driven decisions.
Data Sources: I used data from Excel/CSV files and a MySQL database, and integrated them into Power BI using Power Query and DAX.
Data Analysis and Visualization: I developed a data model and created various charts and visuals to show the financial, sales, marketing, supply chain, and executive performance of the company.
Dashboard Interactivity: I also added features such as filters, slicers, drill-downs, and tooltips to make the dashboard interactive and user-friendly.
Performance Improvement: I optimized the dashboard’s performance using DAX Studio and best practices, resulting in a faster and more efficient report.
Business Impact: The dashboard helps AtliQ Hardware to identify their strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and areas for improvement.

Challenge: Analyzed massive festive promotions for Atliq Mart (50+ supermarkets) to deliver immediate insights for data-driven decisions.

Consolidate data: Created a "sales summary" view for efficient analysis.

Measure impact: Assessed sales, revenue, & engagement for each promotion.

Sales soared: 107.64% increase during Diwali & 113.58% during Sankranti.
