Project Details

For this project, I developed a comprehensive Power BI dashboard to analyze global sales data for both Brick & Mortar and E-commerce businesses. The dashboard integrated over 1 million records from MySQL and Excel, with a focus on key performance metrics like revenue, sales volume, and trends across five departments. The main objective was to create a user-friendly tool to drive data-driven decisions and improve overall business operations.

To enhance performance, I used DAX Studio to optimize the underlying data model, resulting in a 30% reduction in storage and a 5% improvement in report execution time. These optimizations allowed for seamless performance even with large datasets.

The insights gained from the dashboard directly contributed to a 10% increase in revenue by enabling teams to make informed decisions. Additionally, the project reduced data costs by 20% by improving storage efficiency and eliminating inefficiencies.

Designed and developed an interactive Power BI dashboard to analyze the merger of two major OTT platforms—Jotstar and Liocinema. The project aimed to uncover key insights around user behavior, content consumption, and revenue performance post-merger. Integrated over 500K records from subscriber data, content libraries, and watch time logs to build a unified data model.

Utilized SQL for data transformation and cleaning, and optimized Power BI data relationships to improve cross-filtering efficiency by 30%. Developed custom DAX measures to calculate active/inactive user rates, watch time trends, upgrade/downgrade patterns, and revenue metrics.

Key insights included high-performing content genres, plan-wise revenue contribution, user churn risk, and device-wise engagement. Identified strategic opportunities that contributed to a 15% boost in user retention. The dashboard empowered stakeholders to make data-driven content, pricing, and engagement decisions.
