Project Details

Developed a Sales and Finance Analytics project for AtliQ Hardwares, delivering sales reports and P&L statements by year, month, and market. Used data cleaning, Power Pivot, and DAX to build models and custom KPIs for impactful analysis and decision-making.

Sales Report Objectives: Created customer performance reports, compared market performance to sales targets, and identified patterns to track KPIs. Supported customer discounts, negotiations, and business expansion in promising markets.

Finance Report Objectives: Developed P&L reports by fiscal year, month, and market, analyzed financial performance to aid decision-making, communication, and financial planning. Benchmarked against peers and past periods for forecasting.

Problem Statement
AtliQ Hotels, a chain of 5⭐ hotels across India, has been a key player in the hospitality domain for the past 20 years. However, due to strategic moves by competitors and ineffective management decisions, the company is losing market share and revenue. To regain their competitive edge, the director decided to incorporate "Business and Data Intelligence" for data-driven decision-making. Since AtliQ Hotels does not have an in-house Data Analytics team, they hired a third-party service provider to analyze their historical data and provide actionable insights.

Project Objective
As a Data Analyst, I was tasked with:
Analyzing the provided sample data.
Designing and creating a dashboard based on a given mockup.
Delivering insights to help AtliQ Hotels regain their market share and revenue.
