Hi, I’m Mohammad Navaman — a Data Analytics and Machine Learning Practitioner with a B.E. in Information Science. I enjoy working with data, finding patterns, and turning them into insights that help make better decisions.

I have practical skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python, along with hands-on experience in machine learning. While I haven’t worked in a formal organization yet, I’ve built and showcased real business projects through this portfolio. These projects reflect my ability to analyze data, design dashboards, and create models that solve real-world problems.

I’m excited about using data to solve business challenges and eager to keep learning and growing in this field. I’m also open to opportunities where I can apply my skills, contribute to meaningful projects, and develop as a data professional.

Built a Machine Learning model to predict bulldozer auction prices using historical data. Achieved Validation R² = 88.18% and reduced pricing errors by ~70%, enabling smarter and more cost-efficient pricing decisions.

Analyzed ~1M sales & finance records across 25+ countries and 50+ retail partners. Built interactive Excel BI reports using Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX to track sales, profitability, and market trends, with scenario planning for discount optimization.

AI/ML Engineer Intern -- Rooman Technologies Pvt Ltd, Remote

Completed a 6-month NSQF Level 5 certified internship under VTU’s PMKVY/NSDC program, in collaboration with IBM, Wadhwani Foundation, and NASSCOM.
Developed a Customer Segmentation model on 541K+ e-commerce transactions using PCA and KMeans, identifying 2 optimal groups with a silhouette score of 0.92 while retaining 81% variance, as part of an IBM-certified Project.
Discovered that less than 1% of customers contributed the majority of revenue while 99% were low-value, and presented actionable insights with recommended strategies to mentors for customer retention and targeted marketing.
Strengthened expertise in Python (Scikit-learn, Pandas), Data Preprocessing, Clustering, and Dimensionality Reduction while applying real-world business problem-solving frameworks.
