Project Details

As part of a hands-on bootcamp project, I created interactive sales and finance reports for AtliQ Hardware to help business teams evaluate performance and make data-driven decisions.

In the Sales Report, I explored customer sales trends, analyzed growth over years, and highlighted performance against targets. The Finance Report focused on profit and loss analysis across fiscal years and markets, enabling benchmarking and deeper financial understanding.

I applied ETL techniques using Power Query, modeled relationships with Power Pivot, and wrote basic DAX formulas to derive custom metrics. Excel pivot tables, conditional formatting, and clean report structuring were used to enhance visual clarity and usability.

This project strengthened my ability to transform raw data into meaningful insights and present them in a format that business teams can act upon.

Integrated data from Excel/CSV files and MySQL using Power Query.

In this project, I stepped into the role of a Data Analyst to evaluate the effectiveness of a festive sales campaign run by AtliQ Mart during Diwali and Sankranti across 50 stores in South India. Using SQL, I extracted and analyzed sales data to compare pre- and post-campaign performance. I then visualized the findings in Power BI, highlighting key trends, product-category performance, and regional insights. The final deliverables included a dashboard, a video presentation, and a GitHub repository with well-documented queries.

As part of my virtual internship, I analyzed a 6-month insurance dataset comprising 9 policy types across 5 regions in India. The goal was to extract actionable insights into policy preference trends, regional performance variations, and customer behavior patterns, particularly segmented by age groups and their claim settlement outcomes.

To enhance user interactivity and provide layered context, I implemented visual page tooltips on key visuals like line charts, enabling users to hover and view detailed area charts showing monthly trends. Additionally, I enriched KPI card visuals using colored accent bars (green depicting an increase and red depicting a decrease), offering a quick visual cue for value comparisons. These design elements helped make the dashboard more dynamic, intuitive, and executive-friendly.
