Project Details

This project is an end-to-end machine learning application built to assess loan risk and predict default probability. Using Python, Scikit-learn, and Pandas, I trained a model on historical loan data and integrated preprocessing steps such as feature scaling, encoding, and probability-to-score conversion. The system outputs a default probability, credit score, and risk rating (Poor–Excellent). To make the solution interactive, I developed a Streamlit web app where users can input financial details (income, loan amount, tenure, delinquency ratio, credit utilization, etc.) and instantly receive risk predictions. The application simulates a real-world financial use case, helping demonstrate how machine learning supports decision-making in credit analysis.
