Project Details

S (Situation):
GoodCabs, a ride-hailing service, needed clear performance insights to drive business decisions.

T (Task):
Create an interactive Power BI dashboard to visualize city-level operations, track performance against targets, analyze passenger behavior, and monitor revenue and service quality.

A (Action):
I cleaned and transformed raw data for consistency, created calculated columns and DAX formulas, and designed a user-friendly dashboard with slicers, KPIs, and drill-throughs.

R (Result):
The resulting dashboard provided real-time updates on operations, tracked performance progress, offered insights into passenger engagement, and displayed revenue and service quality trends.

Situation:
Atliq, a computer hardware company , faced challenges in understanding key performance metrics across regions, customer segments, and product categories. Their goal was to gain actionable insights to improve profitability, forecasting, and market positioning.

🎯 Task:
Analyzed sales, profit, and forecast accuracy.
Identify performance gaps across sub-zones and product lines.
Present clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.

⚙️ Action:
Using Power BI, SQL, and Excel, I:
1️⃣ Analyzed net sales data.
2️⃣ Built intuitive visualizations for gross margin, forecast accuracy, and customer behavior.
3️⃣ Identified underperforming areas (e.g., -13.98% net profit) and opportunities for growth.

- Improved data accessibility and storytelling for stakeholders.
- Highlighted areas for strategic focus, such as improving forecast accuracy (currently at 80.6%)

Task:
Build a Power BI dashboard to deliver actionable insights around:
-Sales mode performance (Agent vs. App/Web)
-Customer segmentation by age group
-Claims settlement patterns
-Seasonality trends

Action:
-Integrated data from 5 CSV files using SQL for preprocessing
-Designed a multi-page interactive dashboard in Power BI
-Used DAX to calculate KPIs, customer trends, and revenue splits
-Applied filters, drilldowns, and storytelling elements for stakeholder view

Result:
🔸 Identified that customers aged 31–50 (39%) contributed 53% revenue.
🔸 Found that App & Web channels generate 29% revenue but are underused
🔸 Revealed March sales peak (₹264M) through seasonality trend analysis
🔸 Suggested improvements in risk scoring using claims data
🔸 Proposed CLV-based loyalty and product bundling strategies to improve retention and cross-sell
