Project Details

In this project, I developed an interactive Sales and Finance Analytics Report for Atliq Hardware to support data-driven decisions. The report provides insights into sales performance, product growth, market trends, and financial health, helping the company refine strategies and boost profitability.

Key insights:
✔ Top 10 Products with Sales Growth – Identified high-performing products (2020-2021).
✔ Division Sales Report – Analyzed revenue growth across categories.
✔ Market Performance vs. Targets – Assessed trends to find improvement areas.
✔ P&L Reports – Tracked profitability and cost trends.

AtliQ Hardwares, a leading computer hardware manufacturer, struggled with data-driven decision-making. To resolve this, we utilized SQL to analyze key business data and presented the insights through a detailed PowerPoint presentation, enabling the company to make more informed, strategic decisions.

Project Details

AtliQ Hardwares aimed to improve its data-driven decision-making by expanding its analytics team. To assess candidates, Tony Sharma, the Data Analytics Director, created a SQL challenge focused on handling real-time business queries.

As a candidate, I:
Reviewed a document containing 10 business queries.
Crafted and executed SQL queries to extract insights.
Presented the findings through a detailed PowerPoint presentation to top management.

Outcome: This project showcased my ability to analyze complex data, draw meaningful conclusions, and effectively communicate insights, strengthening both my technical and presentation skills.

Project Details

North Wind Traders needed to quickly and accurately respond to various ad-hoc business inquiries to make informed decisions. With data scattered across different sources, there was a need for a streamlined approach to gather insights efficiently.

My Task: Analyzed the company’s business data to address 9 ad-hoc requests using MySQL.
Developed SQL queries to extract relevant data points, focusing on sales trends, customer behavior, and inventory management.

Approach: Leveraged MySQL to design and execute efficient queries that navigated complex datasets, ensuring accurate and timely responses to business queries. This involved using JOINs, aggregations, and conditional logic to capture the necessary insights without compromising performance.

Outcome: The project enhanced my proficiency in SQL and data analysis while enabling North Wind Traders to gain deeper insights into their operations. This experience honed my ability to tackle real-world problems through data.
