Project Details

In this project, I created a sales report using excel pivot tables which will enable businesses to determine effective customer discounts, facilitate negotiations with consumers, and identify potential business expansion opportunities in promising countries. The report generated is used to analyze retail sales data to gain actionable insights that will enhance the performance of the Coffee Shop. Thís Project give us clear analysis of following questions:

-How do sales vary by hour of the day?
-Are there any peak times for sales activity?
-Which products are the best-selling in terms of quantity and revenue?

Project Details

AtliQ Grands owns multiple five-star hotels across India. They have been in the hospitality industry for the past 20 years. Due to strategic moves from other competitors and ineffective decision-making in management, AtliQ Grands are losing its market share and revenue in the luxury/business hotels category. As a strategic move, the managing director of AtliQ Grands wanted to incorporate “Business and Data Intelligence” to regain their market share and revenue. So, this project helps to increase revenue and market share of AtliQ Grands.

In this project we have 5 csv files
1. dim_date
2.dim_hotels
3.dim_rooms
4.fact_aggregated_bookings
5.fact_bookings

Steps Followed:
1'Create the metrics according to the metric list.
2.Create a dashboard according to the mock-up provided by stakeholders.
3.Create relevant insights that are not provided in the metric list/mock-up dashboard.

The main objective of this project is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of Blinkit's sales performance, customer satisfaction and inventory distribution to identify key insights and opportunities for optimization using various KPI's and visualizations in Power BI.

KPI's Requirements:
1. Total sales: The overall revenue generated from all items sold.
2. Average sales: The average revenue per sale.
3. No. of items: The total count of different items sold.
4. Average Rating: The average customer rating for items sold.

Chart's requirements:

1.Total Sales by Fat content
2.Total Sales by item type
3.Fat content by outlet for sales
4.Total sales by outlet establishment
5.Sales by outlet size
6. Sales by outlet location
