Integration Engineer Intern (SQL Developer)

Cllient Integration Integrated more than 5 SME clients into ClearTax's GST compliance portal, transforming raw datasets of 50,000+ rows per client into the required ClearTax format.
Advanced SQL & ETL Development: Developed ETL processes that managed over 150,000 rows of data and authored over 500 lines of SQL code across projects to automate and optimize data transformation.

The P&L (profit and loss) statement for AtliQ Hardware that shows company's sales and cost of goods(COGS) for fiscal years from 2019-21

Project Details

In my Sales and Finance Reporting project for Atliq Hardware, I aimed to bolster business insights by developing customer performance and sales target reports alongside comprehensive Profit and Loss (P&L) analyses.
Notable findings includesAmazon's significant contribution as a customer, with India, the USA, and South Korea emerging as prominent markets, and a remarkable 301% growth in net sales from 2020 to 2021.
Leveraging advanced Excel features, ETL methodology, Power Query, and DAX, I refined my technical skills, while focusing on empathy-driven report design enhanced my soft skills.
These reports are intended to guide Atliq's strategic decision-making, benchmark performance, and inform future financial planning, marking a significant step towards aligning organizational objectives with financial insights. Through this project, I not only contributed valuable insights to Atliq's operations but also expanded my analytical and technical capabilities significantly.

1.Latin america->10% rduction COGS ,Operating Costs->increase net profit( 0 to 0.2 Million dollars).
2.Atliq PC market share:Negligible in 2019 to 5% in 2022

4.Highest and lowest forcast accuracy(56% and -4%)

Project Details

I was tasked by stakeholders analyzing six ad hoc requests (check above image for the request). Using MySQL database for data storage, I employed advanced SQL concepts including Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, and Window functions to craft intricate queries aimed at extracting insights from the records. Additionally, I utilized Stored Procedures and Views for automation purposes, catering to the target audience of top-level management.

Major Insights

1.Croma India sales increase by 180 % in the fiscal year 2021.
2.The percentage of unique product increase in 2021 vs. 2020 is 36.33%.
3.Accessories and Networking segments had the highest (34) and lowest
4.The Top 5 customers who received an average high pre-invoice discount percentage for the fiscal year 2021 and in India are, in descending order, Flipkart, Viveks, Ezone, Croma, and Amazon.
5.In FY 2020, Q1 (Sep-Nov 2019) and Q3 had the maximum and minimum sold quantity of products, respectively.
