In this project, I created a Power BI report for stakeholders in sales, marketing, finance, and executive teams. My focus was on building a robust data model that accommodates complex datasets while ensuring an intuitive, interactive design. This enabled drillable insights for informed decision-making.

I enhanced my skills in Power Query for advanced transformations and used both basic and complex DAX formulas for deeper analysis. The data model integrated over ten interconnected tables, with carefully selected visuals to convey key narratives. The Consumer Goods Ad-hoc Insights project by Codebasics centers on helping Atliq Hardware, a prominent computer hardware company, to leverage data-driven decision-making through a series of SQL queries and visual insights in Power BI. This SQL-based challenge, guided by Atliq’s Data Analytics Director Tony Sharma, presents nine key business questions aimed at analyzing performance across sales, customer segments, product profitability, market trends, and inventory management.

The project steps include:

1. Writing efficient SQL queries to respond to each business question.
2. Focusing on metrics like regional sales comparisons, customer behavior, and sales forecasting.
3. Presenting these insights to support Atliq’s strategic and operational decisions.
