Project Details

In the Consumer Goods Domain project, I worked with the database of Atliq Hardwares, addressing the challenge of enabling data-driven decision-making. I successfully handled 10 ad-hoc requests, uncovering actionable insights that guided strategic planning. Key findings included a significant rise in unique products, the dominance of the 'Notebook' segment, the growth of the 'Accessories' category, notable sales seasonality, and the critical influence of the 'Retailer' channel in driving sales.

Through this project, I gained invaluable insights into the dynamic consumer goods market, the importance of product diversity, seasonality trends, and the role of distribution channels in shaping sales outcomes. It honed my skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and effective communication, significantly enhancing my proficiency as a data analyst and reinforcing the transformative power of data analytics for strategic decision-making.

Mitron Bank aimed to enhance its credit card offerings by analyzing customer spending habits . Key trends and preferences led to personalized rewards and exclusive offers, enhancing customer satisfaction. This strategic approach strengthens Mitron Bank’s market position and drives long-term success.

Demographic classification: Classified customers based on available demography such as age group, gender, occupation etc.

Classified Customers based on their Avg income utilisation % and Spending behaviour.

Project Details

In the Mitron Bank Credit Card Expansion, our aim was to diversify offerings and boost market presence.

Key findings:
1. Spending trends: Bills, Groceries, Electronics dominate, with Mumbai leading.
2. Income impact: Salaried IT, Business Owners, Other Salaried are top spenders.
3. Age preferences: 25-34, 21-24 focus on Entertainment, Apparel, Travel.
4. City dynamics: Mumbai leads, diverse patterns in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai.
5. Gender & marital impact: Males, married individuals prominent card users.
