In my role as a Marketing Data Analyst, I embarked on an exciting journey using cool tools such as Power BI & SQL. We had info from 10,000 folks in ten cities. I wanted to turn all this data into smart ideas for our marketing plan.

Power BI was like my helpful friend. It helped me dig deep and find neat stuff in the data, like secrets and trends. It felt like sailing through numbers, and with Power BI, I found all the important info that would help us make good choices. And when it came to organizing and retrieving the data, SQL was my trusty sidekick. It helped me sort through the data and pull out exactly what I needed.

Power BI and SQL weren't just about numbers and data manipulation.Power BI can make great charts and colorful graphs, while SQL can help organize data neatly. So, I changed the data into pictures and well-organized info that told stories. These picture-stories and well-structured data helped our Marketing team make really smart choices that led us to success

Project Details

The project involved creating a Power BI dashboard for Nexus Hardware, providing automated data analysis for the finance, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to enhance decision-making. In this project , total five views were made which included Finance view, Sales view, Marketing view, Supply Chain view & Executive view respectively. Also each view consisted of Date, Quarters, Year To Date & Year To Go slicers. Some of the Key Learnings of this project are :

•The Finance View analyzes financial performance across markets, products, and customers for the finance team
•Visualized top/bottom customers and key metrics for the sales and marketing team
•Developed a supply chain view to assess sales forecast accuracy
•Conducted market share analysis against competitors

AtliQ Grands, a prominent chain of five-star hotels across India with a 20-year legacy in the hospitality industry faces revenue losses. So the primary goal of this project was to leverage data-driven insights to revitalize AtliQ Grands' presence in the luxury/business hotel sector.The project encompasses the following objectives:

1. Data Analysis and Metric Creation: Collaborated with stakeholders to comprehend the intricacies of the challenge.

2. Dashboard Development & Insight Generation: The dashboard facilitates clear visualization of key performance indicators (KPIs) that will empower stakeholders to make informed decisions along with powerful insights

3. Impactful Recommendations: Translated the extracted insights into actionable recommendations.

4. Data Presentation: Prepared a concise and engaging presentation that effectively communicates the findings, dashboard functionality, and actionable
recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

It's designed to enable them to gauge our organization's strides in fostering diversity and inclusivity. My goal was to create something impactful, and give insights to the HR Team regarding various topics.

Through insightful data visualization, the dashboard highlights critical KPIs related to hiring, promotions, and turnover. It provides an at-a-glance view of our journey, offering an informed perspective on our progress towards building a more inclusive workplace.

Some of the key solutions are :
