AtliQ, a global PC, printer & accessories brand, shifted from Excel to MySQL due to file size & performance issues, enabling scalable & efficient analysis.

🎯 Objective: Analyze MySQL data to uncover trends in sales, market, customer behavior & supply chain performance.

📊 Key Insights (FY2021): Amazon leads with $109.03M, AlliQ Exclusive follows at $79.92M. India tops markets with $210.67M, USA at $132.05M. Amazon drives 13.23% of global sales & 12.99% in APAC.

🛠️ Execution: Loaded data into MySQL Workbench → wrote SQL queries → exported results to CSV for visualization & reporting.

🧩 SQL Stack: SELECT, WHERE, LIKE, ORDER BY, GROUP BY, HAVING, JOINS, subqueries, CASE, CTEs, UDFs, window functions, DDL, DML, views.

🚀 Outputs: Reports on financial performance, top markets, key products/customers & global net sales share.

Profit-focused Power BI dashboard with market-wise contribution, negative margin highlights, detailed customer table, and revenue trend analysis.

Project Details

AtliQ Hardware, a growing computer-hardware manufacturer, struggled with fragmented Excel reports, making it hard to track sales & performance.

📉 To solve this, I built a Power BI dashboard that transformed raw SQL Server data into actionable insights.

ETL was performed in Power Query—removing duplicates, handling outliers, standardizing dates, & converting currency to INR.

💹 A star schema was designed for optimized modeling, & DAX was used to create key measures like Revenue, Profit Margin, & YoY Growth.

📊 The dashboard includes donut charts for customer types, funnel views for market performance, & conditional formatting to flag loss-making areas—all in a sleek dark theme with red highlights. 🌑🔴

Used SQL to fetch Croma’s 2021 sales by adjusting fiscal year with DATE_ADD, ordered by date. Created a function to calculate fiscal year.

Built a stored procedure to generate monthly sales for any customer using joins, aggregation, & fiscal year logic. Called it for customer 90002002.
