I was tasked with analyzing sales data to evaluate the success of AtliQ Mart's promotions during Diwali 2023 and Sankranti 2024 for their branded products. Here's my approach:

Data Analysis: I thoroughly examined the metadata and datasets.

Guidance Document: I referenced "Recommended Insights.pdf" for recommendations from Tony Sharma, the analytics manager.

Ad-hoc Requests: I reviewed "ad-hoc-requests.pdf" to address business questions from senior executives, which required SQL-based reports.

Presentation Creation: I created a presentation for the sales director with actionable insights, using audio and video elements to enhance engagement. I also added

research questions and answers to strengthen my recommendations.

Tools Utilized: I used MySQL and Power BI for data analysis and visualization, which helped uncover insights and trends essential for decision-making.

Project Details

AtliQ Grands, a leading chain of five-star hotels in India, is facing a decline in market share and revenue in the luxury/business segment due to competitive pressures and management challenges. To address this, they have engaged a 3rd party service provider to leverage "Business and Data Intelligence" for strategic insights.

Dashboard Overview:
This Power BI dashboard offers a comprehensive analysis of hotel performance, focusing on key metrics such as Revenue, RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room), DSRN (Daily Sellable Room Nights), ADR (Average Daily Rate), DBRN (Daily Booked Room Nights), Occupancy %, and DURN (Daily Utilized Room Nights).

Features:
The dashboard showcases KPIs with weekly performance trends, compares weekday and weekend metrics, and includes various visualizations, such as a pie chart for revenue breakdown and a line cluster column chart for Realisation % and ADR. It also features a table with detailed hotel information.

Shield Insurance Performance Analysis Power BI Dashboard

Domain/Function: Insurance Analytics

I assisted Shield Insurance in making informed decisions by developing an interactive Power BI dashboard that offers clear and actionable insights. Additionally, I created a video presentation to explain the dashboard's features and benefits as part of my virtual internship with AtliQ Technologies.

Displays the dashboard's home pages, providing navigation to different sections for detailed insights into General View, Sales View, and Age View.

The General View Page offers an overview of insurance metrics, highlighting customer and revenue data with a monthly trend chart by age groups.

Project Details

During my virtual internship with AtliQ Technologies, I had the opportunity to analyze the performance of Shield Insurance, covering data from November 2022 to April 2023. Shield Insurance operates in major cities like Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Indore, and Mumbai, offering nine different insurance policies.

I created an interactive Power BI dashboard to provide a comprehensive overview, categorized into three main sections:

General Overview:
Presents key insurance metrics, including customer and revenue data, with a monthly trend chart segmented by age groups and cities.

Sales Mode Analysis:
Examines sales performance across various channels, featuring a revenue trend chart and highlighting the sales mode that generated the highest revenue.

Age Group Insights:
Evaluates revenue and client performance by age group, detailing total customers, sales modes, estimated settlement amounts, and policy preferences.
