Customer Performance Report: Provides net sales performance of each customer across years

Market performance vs Target report across years: Enables stakeholders to assess the country's performance and compare it to set targets.

Project Details

In this project, I created a sales report using excel pivot tables which will enable businesses to determine effective customer discounts, facilitate negotiations with consumers, and identify potential business expansion opportunities in promising countries. The reports generated will provide actionable insights and recommendations for businesses to optimize their sales strategies, enhance customer satisfaction, and maximize revenue generation.

AtliQ H/W is a consumer electronics company expanding rapidly but is not able to compete with other companies using data as most of their report still exists in Excel. My goal is to implement an advanced analytics solution using Power BI that will help to get insights and make informed decision.

Employed MySQL for data analysis within Finance and Supply Chain domains, extracting invaluable insights to empower our organization in making informed, strategic decisions.

Created a store procedure to get top n customers by net sales as per the user inputs.

Retrieving the top 2 markets in every region by their gross sales amount in FY=2021, by using CTE and Window Functions.

✅ Subqueries, CTEs, Views, Temporary Tables: Explored advanced techniques to write complex queries using subqueries, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and created and utilized views and temporary tables for efficient data handling.

✅ Fundamentals of ETL, Data Warehouse, OLAP, OLTP: Gained a comprehensive understanding of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, data warehousing concepts, and the difference between Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) and Online Transactional Processing (OLTP).

✅ User Defined Functions, Stored Procedures: Learned to create and use user-defined functions and stored procedures to enhance SQL code reusability and improve performance.

✅ Window Functions: Explored advanced analytical functions like OVER, ROW_NUMBER, RANK, DENSE_RANK, etc., enabling me to perform complex calculations and analysis within result sets.
