**Focus:**
This project creates detailed customer performance reports, compares market performance to sales targets, and generates Profit and Loss (P&L) reports by fiscal year and market.

**Purpose:**
- **Sales Analytics:** Helps monitor sales activities, identify patterns, and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- **Finance Analytics:** Assesses financial performance, supports decision-making, and improves stakeholder communication.

**Importance:**
Analyzing sales and finance data is essential for spotting trends, making informed decisions, benchmarking, and planning budgets and forecasts.

**Role of Reports:**
Reports help determine customer discounts, negotiate with consumers, identify expansion opportunities, align financial plans with goals, and boost confidence in financial outlook.

Project Details

I developed a dashboard for AtliQ Hardware, an Indian company specializing in computer hardware, to help them assess their business performance and make informed decisions based on data. I utilized data from Excel/CSV files and a MySQL database, integrating them into Power BI with Power Query and DAX. I built a data model and created various charts and visuals to display the company's financials, sales, marketing, supply chain, and executive performance. To enhance user experience, I incorporated features like filters, slicers, drill-downs, and tooltips, making the dashboard interactive and user-friendly. I optimized the dashboard's performance using DAX Studio and best practices, ensuring it runs faster and more efficiently. The dashboard enables AtliQ Hardware to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats, and areas needing improvement.

AtliqHardware, a top computer hardware manufacturer in India with a strong international presence, aims to enhance its data-driven decision-making by expanding its data analytics team. Led by Tony Sharma, the Data Analytics Director, they're conducting a SQL challenge to evaluate junior data analysts' skills.

The challenge entails addressing 10 ad hoc data requests, testing candidates' SQL proficiency and ability to derive insights crucial for swift decision-making. Candidates must showcase both technical expertise and soft skills in translating data into actionable insights.

AtliqHardware seeks to identify individuals capable of contributing to its growth by effectively analyzing data. Through this initiative, they aim to strengthen their data analytics capabilities, enabling them to make informed decisions and sustain their competitive advantage in the technology sector.
