Project Details

In my HR Data Analysis project for AtliQ Technology, I utilized Excel and Power BI to assess employee attendance, WFH preferences, and leave trends. Key insights:

📍Highest attendance: Mondays
📍Lowest attendance: Fridays
📍WFH preference: Most on Thursdays, least on Tuesdays
📍Trends: Attendance decreased from 93.59% in April to 90.38% in June, while WFH and sick leave increased.

Recommended actions:

🔹Boost Friday attendance: Introduce incentives
🔹Optimize WFH policies: Balance preferences
🔹Reduce sick leave: Implement health initiatives
🔹Increase engagement: Conduct regular check-ins

Domain/Function: Business Insight

AtliQ Hardware, a rapidly growing consumer electronics company, faces challenges in data analysis due to reliance on Excel files. To address this, they onboarded a data analyst team and assigned them a comprehensive project to gain a 360-degree understanding of the company.

Data model: Dimension and fact tables are connected in snowflake schema

Finance View: This view displays important metrics required to make financial decisions.

Project Details

Background: AtliQ Hardware, a computer hardware manufacturer, faced declining sales in Latin America due to decisions based on surveys and intuition.

Task: My role was to create a multi-view dashboard that tracks sales trends across six departments, aiding their shift towards data-driven decision-making.

Action: I gathered data from MySQL and Excel, handling over a million records. I developed measures for key business metrics like net sales, gross margin %, net profit %, and identified top and bottom customers, along with forecast accuracy, streamlining decision-making.

Result: Optimizing reports with DAX Studio reduced file sizes by 25% and enhanced performance. Projected benefits include a 10% revenue growth and a 20% reduction in data-related expenses.

n this project, I developed a Pizza Sales Analysis Dashboard using Power BI and SQL. Key learnings include:

Data Cleaning: Ensured data accuracy for effective analysis.

SQL Proficiency: Created and managed a database, imported datasets, wrote queries, and connected SQL to Power BI.

Power BI Visualization:

Built an interactive dashboard displaying key metrics like total revenue, orders, pizzas sold, and average order value.
Visualized top and bottom-performing pizzas by revenue, orders, and quantity sold.
Tracked sales trends by day and month, identifying peak periods.
Generated Insights:

"Thai Chicken Pizza" was the top revenue contributor.
"Classic Deluxe Pizza" had the highest sales volume.
Fridays and large pizzas drove the most orders and sales.
July was the peak sales month.
Ad-hoc Reporting: Provided specific insights for data-driven decisions, aiding menu optimization and marketing strategies.
