Project: Sales, Services, and marketing of various Retail products

Constructed a customized, multi-functional Power BI dashboard to analyze sales trends by gathering data from two distinct sources: Excel/CSV files and a SQL database

Constructed a robust data model and designed visualizations within Power BI, subsequently enhancing the report’s performance by 5% through optimization with DAX studio
Enabled comprehensive sales trend analysis facilitating informed decisions and forecasting a 10% revenue boost with a 20% decrease in data-related costs

Optimized report and reduced file size by 25% also scheduled automatic refresh and scheduling refresh by Data Gateway in Power BI service.

Task:
My responsibility was to create a multi-view dashboard to monitor sales trends across six departments, facilitating the company's transition to data-driven decision-making.

Action:
I collected data from MySQL and Excel, managing over a million records. I developed measures for key business metrics such as net sales, gross margin %, net profit %, and identified top and bottom customers, as well as forecast accuracy, to streamline decision-making.

Project Details

I was assigned by stakeholders to analyze six specific requests . Using a MySQL database for data storage, I utilized advanced SQL techniques such as Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, and Window functions to create complex queries aimed at extracting insights from the data. Additionally, I employed Stored Procedures and Views to automate processes, catering specifically to top-level management.

Key Findings:
1. Croma India's sales surged by 180% in fiscal year 2021.
2. The percentage increase in unique products from 2020 to 2021 was 36.33%.
3. The Accessories segment saw the highest increase (34%), while Networking had the lowest.
4. The top five customers in India for the fiscal year 2021 with the highest average pre-invoice discount percentages were Flipkart, Viveks, Ezone, Croma, and Amazon, in descending order.
5. In fiscal year 2020, Q1 (Sep-Nov 2019) had the highest quantity of products sold, while Q3 had the lowest.

Problem Statement: The problem for the company was that they were in a hybrid mode of working i.e some employees are working from office and some are working from home. They wanted insights on the attendance/presence of the employees for the past 3 months of data.

1.Knowing the percentage presence of employees
2.Working preferences ,either work from home or work from office
3.Understanding how many people are taking sick leaves
4.Developed a dashboard for presence ,work from home ,and sick leave of the employees of Atliq technologies.
5.The analysis is done on various parameters to give a proper insights mentioned by HR
