I worked as a data analyst with AtliQ Grand, a well-known hotel chain, to help them get back on track and increase their revenue. They struggled with competition and needed data-driven strategies, which is where I came in.

This project offers two comprehensive views:

Overall Analysis: Gives a snapshot of vital performance indicators like revenue, RevPAR, and occupancy percentage. Detailed metrics such as average rates and cancellation percentages are included.

Revenue Analysis: Delves into revenue distribution across cities, hotel categories, and booking platforms. These insights are crucial for optimizing sales strategies.

Project Details

This project analyzes customer retention and churn patterns using Power BI. It segments customers into "Churner" and "Customer" categories, showing subscription tenure, demographics, and churn rates. Financial insights include monthly ($139.13K) and yearly ($2.86M) revenue changes and average charges. Customer service interactions are tracked with tech (2173) and admin (885) tickets. Payment and contract analysis reveal electronic checks as the most used method and month-to-month contracts dominating churned customers. The dashboard highlights total churned customers (1869 of 7043) and factors driving attrition. This project also holds the KPI of different services, helping businesses optimize customer service, financial planning, and marketing strategies to reduce churn and enhance retention.

AtliQ Hardware, a rapidly expanding consumer electronics company, faces challenges in competing with data-driven rivals, as most reports remain in Excel. My goal is to implement a Power BI-based analytics system to enable smarter decision-making and optimize their business performance.

Data Model: Integrating over 10 tables for a comprehensive and interconnected analysis.

Yearly forecast accuracy stands at 81.17%, net error is -3472.69K and absolute error is 6.9M. Filters available: region, market, customer.

Project Details

In this project, I created a Power BI report for stakeholders in sales, marketing, finance, and executive teams. My focus was on building a robust data model that accommodates complex datasets while ensuring an intuitive, interactive design. This enabled drillable insights for informed decision-making.

I enhanced my skills in Power Query for advanced transformations and used both basic and complex DAX formulas for deeper analysis. The data model integrated over ten interconnected tables, with carefully selected visuals to convey key narratives. By applying dashboard design principles, I ensured clarity and impact, with features like bookmarks enhancing user experience.

The report was deployed via Power BI Service, incorporating stakeholder feedback for improvement. Analyzing vital metrics across departments has empowered teams to make data-driven decisions and drive business success, fostering a culture of analytical thinking.

AtliQ Motors, a leading EV manufacturer from the USA, aims to expand in India, where its market share is less than 2%. I conducted a detailed analysis of the Indian EV market using sales data by state and maker, and time-series data.

My Approach:
Data Cleaning: Standardized state names and corrected anomalies like outliers in Kerala’s 2024 sales.
Sales Analysis: Analyzed EV sales by category (2-wheeler, 4-wheeler), focusing on penetration rates and CAGR.
Competitor Insights: Identified key competitors like Tata Motors (4-wheelers) and Ola Electric (2-wheelers).
State-wise Adoption: Highlighted top states like Maharashtra and Karnataka with high EV adoption.

Key Recommendations:
Set up manufacturing in Gujarat due to subsidies and infrastructure.
Focus on affordable two-wheelers, the largest segment.
Expand charging infrastructure in key cities.
This analysis offers strategic insights for AtliQ Motors to succeed in India's EV market.
