Hi, I’m Srithika, a recent Computer Science graduate who discovered a passion for data analytics while exploring different areas in tech. Learning tools like Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python opened up a whole new world for me, where data started to make sense.

I realized that data is everywhere - behind every decision and every product. Whether it's understanding user behavior or solving real problems, data brings clarity and direction.

Working on projects, I found joy in cleaning data, analyzing patterns, and turning insights into compelling dashboards. That curiosity turned into a clear goal: to build a career in data analytics.

Project Details

This project began with a simple dataset - sales transactions and financials but evolved into a meaningful reporting solution built entirely in Excel. My goal was to uncover insights that help businesses understand what’s selling, where, and how it affects profit.
Using Pivot Tables, Power Query, and clean formatting, I built reports that highlight monthly trends, top products, and revenue vs. profit. I tackled challenges like messy data, reshaped it, and created structured views for any stakeholder to easily understand.

What I applied & learned:

1. Cleaned and structured raw data
2. Used Pivot Tables for key sales metrics
3. Automated prep with Power Query
4. Practiced sales domain thinking
5. Designed reports for clarity and action

This project showed me that Excel, when used intentionally, can deliver clear, powerful insights that support real business decisions.

Project Details

The objective of this project was to develop a comprehensive report that could effectively serve the needs of stakeholders across various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and the Executive team.
The report was built with a strong emphasis on:
1.Effective and scalable data modeling
2.Intuitive and user-centered report design
3.Interactive insights through drill-down capabilities

Project Details

This project started with a real-world healthcare dataset of 55,000+ patient records and evolved into a comprehensive Excel-based dashboard analyzing hospital admissions and billing trends from 2019 to 2024. The objective was to transform messy data into actionable insights for decision-making. Using Power Query and Pivot Tables, I built a dynamic report that identified top medical conditions, hospital performance, and average billing metrics. I resolved data challenges such as 5,000+ duplicate entries and inconsistent formats to improve accuracy and readability.

What I applied & learned:
1. Cleaned and transformed raw healthcare data using Power Query
2. Created calculated fields like Age Group and Length of Stay
3. Used Pivot Tables and Slicers for flexible reporting
4. Built calendar heatmaps to reveal admission trends
5. Strengthened domain thinking in healthcare analytics
This project proved Excel’s ability to deliver impactful insights through well-designed dashboards

Developed a Power BI dashboard analyzing 1,500+ marketing records, delivering KPIs on spend, revenue, ROI, and campaign performance, enabling data-driven budget allocation and strategy optimization.

Project Details

Developed an interactive Marketing Campaign Analysis Dashboard in Power BI to evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing spend. Cleaned and transformed 1,500+ raw marketing records into 1,000 high-quality rows using Power Query, improving data accuracy and reliability. Built DAX measures to calculate critical KPIs such as Total Spend (25.69M), Total Revenue (42.54M), ROI (0.68), and identified the Best Performing Campaign. Designed dynamic visuals with slicers for Region and Industry, enabling detailed segmentation and decision-making. Key insights included Influencer Marketing delivering the highest ROI (137) and Digital campaigns (62.5%) outperforming Traditional campaigns (37.5%), leading to improved budget allocation and performance tracking. This project strengthened expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, and business storytelling, while providing actionable insights to support marketing strategy and growth.
