The goal of this project is to deeply understand how the company is doing financially and where it stands in the market. I have created different reports like "Customer Net Sales Performance" and "Market Performance vs. Target" using basic and advanced Excel skills.

AtliQ Hardwares, a leading computer hardware producer, faced challenges in making data-driven decisions. To solve this, they needed a comprehensive report to analyse business queries. This involved utilising SQL for data analysis and Power BI for creating clear, actionable insights.

Project Details

Title: Ad-Hoc Insights

Company: AtliQ Hardwares (an imaginary leading computer hardware producer in India with a global presence)

Challenge: AtliQ Hardwares aimed to enhance data-driven decision-making by expanding its analytics team. Tony Sharma, the Data Analytics Director, devised a SQL challenge to evaluate candidates' technical and soft skills.

My Task: As a hypothetical applicant, I:

Reviewed 'ad-hoc-requests.pdf' with 10 business queries.
Crafted and executed SQL queries.
Developed a Power BI and PowerPoint presentation to showcase insights to top management.

Approach: Utilized MySQL for data retrieval and analysis. Employed Power BI for impactful visualisations. Designed a professional presentation to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

Outcome: This project demonstrated my ability to handle complex data queries and present findings effectively, enhancing both my technical and communication skills.
