Hi, I’m a data analyst who loves turning messy data into beautiful, meaningful insights—kind of like a data wizard, but without the robe and wand (unfortunately). Armed with a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology, I’ve mastered the art of Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python to dig through data, find patterns, and create visualizations that make even the most confusing numbers tell a story.

I started my career in UI/UX, where I designed cool prototypes and user-friendly experiences. But then, data came knocking, and I was hooked. There’s just something about solving business problems with data that’s more thrilling than aligning pixels on a screen (sorry, design world!).

Project Details

The goal of this project was to provide the sales and finance teams with key insights into their business performance. By analyzing sales data, the project aimed to identify trends, improve decision-making, and support strategic planning.

Sales View: The reports created for the sales team focused on metrics such as net sales, customer segmentation, and product performance. This helped the team to better understand their market and optimize their sales strategies.
Finance View: For the finance team, the reports provided insights into financial metrics like revenue, gross margin, and profitability. These insights were crucial for budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring financial health.
Skills Learned:
During this project, I honed my skills in Excel, specifically in using Power Query for data transformation and DAX basics for calculations. Additionally, I leveraged Power Pivot to create complex data models, enabling the generation of detailed and insightful reports.
