In this project, I designed a detailed sales report leveraging Excel pivot tables. This tool enables businesses to identify optimal customer discount rates, support client negotiations, and pinpoint growth opportunities in high-potential regions. The reports deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to enhance sales approaches, enhance customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.

Project Details

The Good Cabs project focused on helping a two-year-old cab service company that operates in tier-2 cities across India. The company has grown quickly by supporting local drivers and offering quality service to customers. In 2024, the company wanted to improve its overall performance and make customers even happier. Our goal was to help them by analyzing their data and giving them useful insights in a simple and clear way.

To do this, we used Power BI to build an interactive dashboard. This dashboard allows the company to easily explore their data and understand key information. We designed the visuals in a clean and clear format so that important trends like the number of trips, customer feedback, and passenger behavior could be seen at a glance.

The dashboard focused on a few important areas such as new vs repeat passengers, repeat passenger rate, trip amount, actual vs target passengers, passenger satisfaction, and driver ratings.

Project Details

Used real-world data scraped from Zepto to simulate a complete data analyst workflow in the e-commerce domain. Created SQL tables and imported raw inventory data using PostgreSQL. Performed exploratory data analysis to understand product categories, pricing inconsistencies, and stock availability. Cleaned data by removing zero-value entries and converting prices from paise to rupees. Wrote business-focused SQL queries to identify best-value products, estimate category-wise revenue, analyze out-of-stock premium items, and calculate price per gram for value analysis. Grouped products based on weight and measured inventory trends across categories. This project demonstrates strong SQL skills, data cleaning techniques, and the ability to generate actionable insights for business use in a retail environment.
