My name is Yash Patil, and I am a BSc Data Science graduate (2025). I have a strong interest in data analytics and enjoy working with data to derive meaningful insights.

During my academic journey, I built a solid foundation in data analysis, statistics, and programming.

Currently, I am working as a Data Entry Analyst since June 2026, where I handle data processing tasks, ensure data accuracy, and work with large datasets. This role has helped me develop strong attention to detail and practical exposure to real-world data handling.

Alongside my job, I am enhancing my skills by pursuing the Data Analytics Bootcamp by Codebasics, where I am gaining hands-on experience with tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python through real-world projects.

Project Details

This project focuses on analyzing sales data using Microsoft Excel to generate meaningful business insights. The objective was to evaluate sales performance by category, customer, region, and time.

The dataset was cleaned and structured for analysis. Advanced Excel features such as Pivot Tables, Charts, Conditional Formatting, and Slicers were used to build an interactive dashboard.

Key insights include top-performing categories like Phones and Chairs, strong profit growth in Technology, and high-performing regions identified through map charts. Customer analysis highlighted top profit-generating customers.

Monthly sales trends showed peak performance during October to December, indicating seasonal demand.

This project demonstrates strong skills in data analysis, visualization, and dashboard creation using Excel.
