My journey into data analytics began during my Master's degree in Biotechnology, where I discovered my natural ability to analyze data and draw actionable conclusions.

For the Customer Performance Report, I analyzed sales trends over time, while the Market Performance vs. Targets Report identified gaps and success.

In this project, I developed a series of reports aimed at delivering in-depth insights for stakeholders:
Customer Performance Report: Analyzed sales data and growth trends to understand customer behavior over time.
Market Performance vs Sales Targets Comparison: Conducted a detailed analysis of market performance versus sales targets to identify achievements and gaps.
Profit & Loss (P&L) Reports by Fiscal Year & Months: Evaluated financial performance across different time frames to reveal profitability trends.
P&L Reports by Markets: Benchmarked market-wise financial performance against industry standards.

Tools and Techniques:
ETL Methodology: Streamlined data processing for clean, usable datasets.
Power Query: Created date tables and derived fiscal months/quarters for accurate time-based reporting.

Project Details

In this project, I created a unified report for stakeholders in sales, marketing, finance, and the executive team, focusing on robust data modeling, user-centric design, and drillable insights.
I developed skills in Power Query, mastered advanced operations, and created basic and complex DAX formulas. I modeled data involving over ten tables, selected appropriate visuals, and applied dashboard design principles. Using bookmarks and deploying the dashboard in the Power BI service, I also implemented stakeholder feedback.

The Problem: AtliQ Hardware, a fast-growing consumer electronics company, struggled with Excel reports, losing ground to competitors who utilized data for smarter decisions.

The Goal: To build an intuitive dashboard that integrates finance, sales, marketing, and supply chain metrics. The "Business Insights 360 Dashboard" aims to turn data into actionable insights, empowering AtliQ to make informed choices and strategically open new stores in the coming quarters.
