Customer Performance Report: Shows the net sales performance for each customer over the years

Market Performance vs. Target Report: Allows stakeholders to evaluate how the country's performance stacks up against the set targets over the years.

Project Details

In this project, I created two sales reports using Excel Pivot Tables.
The customer performance report helps businesses find the right discounts and negotiate better deals with customers. The market performance report shows how the business is performing compared to targets and identifies new growth opportunities. Both reports offer useful insights to improve sales strategies, enhance customer satisfaction, and boost revenue.

AtliQ Hardware is a fast-growing consumer electronics company. However, they faced challenges in staying competitive because most of their reports were still in Excel. My goal was to implement an advanced analytics solution using Power BI to help them gain insights and make better decisions.

AtliQ Hardware, a leading computer hardware manufacturer in India with a presence in international markets, launched an SQL challenge aimed at improving decision-making processes. The task involves handling 10 ad-hoc requests using SQL queries.

This shows unique products for each segment, highlighting the top product counts. The leading product is Notebook, which has 129 products.

This describes AtliQ Hardware's total sales in 2020 by quarters. The highest sales were in Q1, showing trends and fluctuations throughout the year

Project Details

Query Resolution: Handled 10 ad-hoc queries using SQL basics, including SELECT, FROM, WHERE, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, CTE (Common Table Expressions), JOINS, ROUND, WINDOW FUNCTIONS, and BETWEEN.

Used Excel and Power BI for data visualization, exporting results as needed. Created bar charts, pie charts, column charts, and area charts for clear, impactful visuals.

Insights Presentation: Delivered a detailed video presentation, explaining insights from the visualizations. Shared key observations and practical recommendations, ensuring the narrative was simple and easy to follow for clear understanding.

These efforts greatly supported better decision-making by providing clear insights and actionable recommendations.

Project Details

AtliQ Grands, a prominent player in the luxury hotel sector in India, has been experiencing a decline in market share and revenue due to competitive pressures and ineffective management decisions. With two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, the managing director has recognized the need for “Business and Data Intelligence” to regain their competitive edge. However, the company lacks an in-house data analytics team, prompting the revenue management team to seek a third-party service provider for insights from their historical data.

Proposed Workflow Steps:
•Collect data from Excel/CSV
•Load data into Power BI and perform initial validation
•Transform data using Power Query
•Model data and create calculated columns
•Develop measures using DAX
•Create overall and monthly analyses
•Design report filters using bookmarks, page navigation, tooltips, and KPIs
•Execute the solution using Power BI

Built an interactive Power BI dashboard for Shield Insurance to analyze revenue, customer trends, and sales modes, providing valuable insights to support data-driven decisions and business growth.

The General View page shows total revenue/customers, DRG & DCG, with metrics by age group and city, plus a monthly trend of revenue and customers.

This star schema model connects dimension tables (date, customer, policies) to fact tables (premiums, settlements) using one-to-many relationships.

Project Details

I created an interactive Power BI dashboard for Shield Insurance to analyze customer trends, revenue, and sales modes, enabling better decision-making. The dashboard includes three key pages: General Overview, Sales View, and Age-Group View, offering a detailed breakdown of business performance.

To achieve this, I integrated revenue and customer growth tracking, segmented data by age group and city, and implemented filters for Age-Group, Policy ID, Sales Mode, Month, and City to enhance data analysis.

Key Insights:
📌 Delhi NCR led with ₹402M revenue and 11,007 customers.
📌 The 31-40 age group generated the highest revenue of ₹311M.
📌 Offline Agents contributed ₹551M in sales.
📌 Policy POL2005HEL was the top performer, generating ₹206M revenue.
This dashboard improves data visibility, making it easier to track trends and optimize business strategies.
