Hi, I'm Kashish! I love working with data — finding patterns, spotting trends, and turning messy numbers into clear, useful insights.

I work with Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Python to explore data and answer real business questions. Right now, I'm doing my MCA (after finishing my BCA), but honestly, the classroom isn't where I learned the most. That happened while building real projects — dashboards that track sales, queries that dig into trends, and models that predict what happens next.

I haven't had a full-time job yet, but don't let that fool you. I've treated every project like it mattered — because it did. Each one taught me something new and pushed me to think like an analyst, not just act like one.

Customer Net Sales Performance: Customer-wise net sales report (2019–2021) with YoY growth %, filterable by region/market/division.

Market Performance vs Target: Country-wise sales vs. target for 2021, showing every market missed target — a $54.9M (-9.2%) shortfall overall, with Poland (-18.1%) and Canada (-14.5%) lagging most.

Project Details

This project analyzes AtliQ Hardware's financial and market performance using advanced Excel — Pivot Tables, Power Query, and DAX. I built a 4-year P&L report along with key reports like "Customer Net Sales Performance" and "Market Performance vs. Target."

Through this project, I strengthened my skills in Pivot Tables, Power Query, DAX, basic conditional formatting, and report beautification, while building a solid understanding of sales domain metrics. Highlights: net sales grew from $87.5M to $598.9M (+304.5%), automated data cleaning saved ~4 hours of manual work, and flexible DAX measures improved calculation flexibility by 25%.

Overall, this project aims to empower data-driven decision-making by turning raw sales and financial data into clear, actionable insights.

Created an interactive landing page in Power BI that centralizes navigation across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Executive, and Support dashboards, enabling quick access to KPIs and business insights.

Developed an enterprise-grade Business Intelligence solution in Power BI using Power Query, a Snowflake data model, DAX, and DAX Studio. Built interactive dashboards across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Executive functions, featuring KPI tracking, profitability analysis, forecasting, and performance monitoring. The solution provides business stakeholders with real-time insights through optimized data models, advanced calculations, and intuitive visualizations for faster, data-driven decision-making.

Project Details

This project analyzes AtliQ Grands' performance as a five-star hotel chain, giving leadership a clear view of revenue, bookings, and property-level performance. Using Power BI and DAX, I built an interactive dashboard covering key hospitality KPIs — Revenue, RevPAR, DSRN, ADR, Occupancy%, and Realisation%.

Key highlights:

Built KPI cards for Revenue, RevPAR, DSRN, ADR, Occupancy%, and Realisation% for quick performance snapshots.
Designed visualizations showing % revenue by category, trends across key metrics, and Realisation%/ADR by booking platform.
Created a property-level performance table with custom DAX measures, enabling easy comparison across hotel properties.
Enabled data-driven decision-making by surfacing which properties and platforms were over- or under-performing.

The result is a clean, interactive dashboard that helps stakeholders quickly understand how each property is performing and where to focus attention.
