About Me

I am a Data Scientist with a strong background in Computer Science, specializing in data analysis, machine learning and predictive modeling. I work across the end-to-end data science lifecycle, from data cleaning and exploratory data analysis to feature engineering, model development and evaluation.

I leverage SQL for ETL processes, Apache Airflow for data orchestration and Python (Jupyter Notebooks) for model training using scikit-learn and machine learning algorithms such as XGBoost. I use Apache Superset and Power BI to visualize data and extract insights and Streamlit to build interactive user interfaces for model-driven predictions.

Created four(4) reports for the sales team which will help them to evaluate customer performance, track Key Performance Indicators using the P&;L statement i.e. Net Sales, Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) & Gross Margin (GM) and understand their market performance with respect to their target.

In this project, I created a sales report using excel pivot tables which will enable businesses to determine effective customer discounts, facilitate negotiations with consumers, and identify potential business expansion opportunities in promising countries. The reports generated will provide actionable insights and recommendations for businesses to optimize their sales strategies, enhance customer satisfaction, and maximize revenue generation.

This Expense Management System is a web application designed to help users manage, track and analyze personal or business expenditures. The system allows users to add and update expenses through a clean, user-friendly interface built with Streamlit. It features date filtering, category-based analytics,monthly analytics and Daily Trend Analysis using Altair charts. Backend APIs built with FastAPI handle data processing and analytics requests, while the frontend ensures smooth interaction and real-time feedback. The platform supports insights generation by displaying total and percentage-based expenditures per category, month and day within a selected date range, helping users make better financial decisions.

Project Details

This project focuses on building an end-to-end machine learning model to predict health insurance premiums based on customer demographic and health-related features. The workflow includes data cleaning, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering , model training, Model evaluation using Python and scikit-learn, with advanced algorithms such as XGBoost to improve predictive performance.

The final model was deployed using Streamlit, enabling users to input customer details and receive real-time premium predictions through an intuitive web interface. The project demonstrates the practical application of data science in predictive analytics and decision support.
